Spring Festival Gala
I was fortunate to serve as the emcee for Spring Festival Gala, one of the biggest events hosted and organized by CSA. We host these events to not only share our home culture with local students but offer a place for Chinese students to experience the festivity
Team Building
Try laser tag if you haven’t done so already! We believe that every good team goes through forming, storming, norming, and performing. Team building event is one of many ways we use to discover our team dynamics and try to develop a team that performs.
Safety Seminar
CSA strives to become the first line of support for Chinese international students. We host new student orientation, safety seminar, Q&A with Chinese Consulate, and provide many other resources. Our goal is for Chinese students to pursue their dream without unnecessary hurdles from being in an unfamiliar environment.
COVID-19 Supplies from Chinese Consulate
Distributing Emergency Supplies
The impact of COVID-19 is detrimental to our society. International students face an especially difficult situation without the support from their family. I was honored to be tasked with sorting the inventory, unpacking, and reorganizing the supplies provided by Chinese Consulate in Houston. For this first batch of supplies, we received 6,000 surgical masks, 600 KN95 masks, 300 disinfectant wipes, and 600 flu medicine. I was able to sort and pack them up into 300 packages for the rest of our team to distribute them to the Chinese students in town.
